High optical construction cost is
a major problem for Carriers. Tainet’s Mercury Fiber-1-VWA20/B20
is just the right solution. It’s an efficiently fiber
optical module with Bi-directional Wave Division
Multiplexing function (WDM).
The WDM application requires both Fiber–1-VWA20/B20
cards equipped at either ends. Fiber–1-VWA20 card
puts transmitting signal on 1550nm wavelength, receiving
signal from 1310nm wavelength and Vice Versa. The
tremendous feature enables Tainet Mercury series
to cut down the fiber requirement, saving cost for
operators.
Both Fiber-1-VWA20 and B20 carry
4E1 over a 20Km single-mode fiber. And what’s more,
Fiber-1VWA20/B20
can transmit voice synchrony as well, when collocated
with 4P-POTS-FXS/FXO/E&M card.
Except of WDM application, Tainet Mercury’s fiber
optical modules are designed to meet different applications.
