Today, Tainet announce Scorpio 1400RL, a cost-efficient G.SHDSL router product, which enables users to access the broadband network or establish LAN-to-LAN and point-to-point network applications between remote sites.

Tainet Scorpio 1400RL is a qualified G.SHDSL router adopting 16 TC-PAM line coding, equalization, adaptive filtering and echo cancellation technologies. Scorpio 1400RL support carrying symmetrical 2048kbps payload for up to 2.4 miles /3.9 Km over 26-AWG single pair copper wire and/or symmetrical 4096 Kbps payload for two pairs copper wires. It also allows the coexistence of multiple xDSL lines in same cable bundle. With friendly design, users can easily configure the G.SHDSL via the front panel LCD or the ANSI compatible craft interface. For the remote configuration, the embedded operation channel (EOC) enable users to configure the NTU without visiting actual location.

Above mentioned features make Scorpio 1400RL an ideal solution for various applications using leased line connections such as Internet access, peer to peer file sharing, Web hosting Internet Gaming and Video Conference. The Scorpio 1400RL can be configured to work as a desktop CPE device or a stand-alone CO unit. It also interoperates with the SHDSL router module used in the Tainet Scorpio 1000 rack.
