November 21, 2006 - TAINET Communication System Corp. today announced its Mercury 3630E, an advanced model of Mercury Cross Connect System, to enable transport of Ethernet and Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) traffic over Fiber Optical networks.

As demand for Ethernet data communications has grown, Mercury 3630E is certainly a competent solution for both Incumbent and Competitive Carriers to provide extensive Ethernet service to fulfill customer needs based on legacy infrastructure. Therefore, introduction of Mercury 3630E allows cost-effective delivery of advanced Ethernet Leased-Line and LAN services using SDH network, and at the same time working seamlessly with existing TDM based service, including E1/T1, nx64 data, voice and G.SHDSL access by allocating modular tributary interfaces slots. It not only offers carrier class service provision, but also works with TAINET UNMS, an intelligent network management system.

With superior network and operational efficiency by converging legacy and next generation infrastructure, Mercury 3630E is now allowing Service Providers to offer the most versatile needs for their customers, and develop maximum return on their network assets.
