new G.SHDSL.bis product, Scorpio 1400Rbis.
As a high performance TDM based bridge modem, Scorpio
1400Rbis adopts following standards and technologies:

Scorpio
1400Rbis services SME and households to enjoy
high-speed, lower-latency symmetric bandwidth
and multimedia applications, such as file sharing,
FTP and P2P file download, Voice over IP, video
streaming, conferencing and real-time audio etc.
Through
Scorpio 1400Rbis, the Ethernet packets can be
transmitted in high-speed symmetric way of 5.37Mbps/10.74Mbps
over single/dual twisted copper pairs. Moreover,
utilizing copper in data rate of 192~5696Kbps
from 31Kft down to 10Kft over 24AWG (0.5mm) wires
makes distance a strength to Scorpio 1400Rbis.
For point-to-point application, Scorpio 1400Rbis
can be configured as CO/RT (Server/Client) mode.
With
the bandwidth flow control, VLAN tagging and
Ethernet rate-limitation, the switch mode bridge
can offer competent service, yielding from 64Kbps
up to 11.38Mbps Ethernet throughput. TAINET Scorpio
1400Rbis is appropriate for SME and households
requiring speedy connection, varied applications
and immediate ROI.
