Scorpio 1400 is a qualified G.SHDSL modems adopting 16
TC-PAM line coding, equalization, adaptive filtering
and echo cancellation technologies. The Scorpio 1400
provides high-speed, symmetric data transmission over
single/dual twisted pair copper cable and allows multiple
xDSL lines to coexist on the same cable bundle.
Intelligence
of line rate adaption is implemented in Scorpio 1400,
which carries maintenance-free feature, automatic
line rate. The line rate can go up to 1536K, 2048K
and 2304Kbps, up to 4608Kbps for 4 wire solution.
The
Scorpio 1400 can be configured to work as a desktop
CPE device or a stand-alone CO unit. It also interoperates
with the SHDSL module used in the Tainet Scorpio
1000 rack and Mercury Series Integrated Access Devices
(IAD).
