iEAC-16 and xNTU Series
TANET's new Intelligent Ethernet Access Chassis – iEAC-16, is a 2U high 19-inch chassis containing a controller MCU-16, redundant AC/DC power modules and 16 slots with three types of line cards including ENTU, SNTU and VNTU. All modules are hot swappable. Also, it can be managed through SNMP, Web GUI and CLI (Telnet and craft port).

By using different types of line card, iEAC-16 is able to extend Fast/Gigabit Ethernet traffic over 100/1000 Base-FX optical fiber, G.SHDSL.bis line with 2/4/8 wires, VDSL line, and coaxial cable. The various line cards enhance the flexibility and ability of iEAC-16 to provide Ethernet service over fiber and copper at the same time and thus meet more applications. It is an ideal product to provide high density Ethernet extender installation in central offices or enterprises.

Comet 1600 EFM/TDM Series
TAINET’s Comet 1600 series, which takes advantage of the latest G.SHDSL.bis standard, is a mini-terminal enabling the transport of traffic from Ethernet, E1 and Nx64k Data interface with speed 5.7M/11.4M/22.8M over EFM bonded 2/4/8 wires G.SHDSL.bis link.

Comet 1600 series supports high-speed dedicated symmetrical data transmission and utilizes DSL bandwidth. The automatic line rate can be up to 5.7Mbps over 2-wire copper line. Comet 1602/1604/1608 series works as Ethernet extender, with up to 8 wires it could enhance rate and provide the aggregated bandwidth over 22Mbps. Along with time-slot assignment feature, Comet 1612/1614, 1622/1624, 1632/1634 series provide multiple user interfaces for TDM traffic including E1 and/or Nx64k Data port and also with Ethernet traffic together.

Comet 1600 series is a perfect solution for Telecom Carrier, Service Providers and business users. To reduce operation/management burden, Comet 1600 series can control and monitor remote unit via Embedded Operation Channel (EOC), by following ITU-T G.991.2. Administrators can also easily configure Comet 1600 series through the Telnet, Web/HTTP or through SNMP* agent.

Over various broadband technologies including xDSL, HFC, wireless and fiber, the Venus 29xx Series carries toll quality voice, fax and data traffic simultaneously in a cost effective way. Additionally, the Venus 29xx Series supports intelligent features like long loop, line testing, polarity reversal, caller ID, call transfer, call waiting and 3- way calling. The ideal applications include MTU/MDU, virtual PBX, IP Centrex, PBX extension and hosted telephony services.

Venus series with USB 3G dongle plug-in offers a compelling alternative to traditional wireline backup

TAINET VoIP Gateway Venus 29xx Series provide dual WAN Ethernet interfaces over a traditional wired linkage and modern 3G connection as a redundant broadband access services, in addition to the redundant link, which is powered by the widely deployed high-speed 3G cellular networks. Venus Series offers a high availability wireless uplink channel with USB 3G dongle plug-in. This feature enable the link monitoring mechanism supervises the operation of existing active link. Venus automatically evaluate the best available uplink in the service area, and switches the VoIP traffic between wired link and wireless link by referring to the detection of the fault signal.

For recent nature disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes, damages the power outages and telecom infrastructures widely sustained along with the wired network backhaul services on which they depend. At the meantime, wireless link backup for Venus Series provides an alternative route for VoIP packets when wirelines are cut or when any other type of disaster disrupts service, it offers a new level of diversity for business to backup the data connection and keep VoIP service always alive.
