Compact STM-1 ADM7500, what is the different between
RT mode and COT mode? |

| Tainet ADM7500 was
designed in two kinds of mode. One is for Central
Office Terminal, and the other is Remote Terminal.
Basically, most parts of design are similar, but
the optical interface of COT was added synchronous
function for Ring structure. In fact, COT ADM7500
basically was design in Terminal Mux, Point to
Point, Linear, and Ring architecture. For ring
structure, it requires to have one COT ADM7500
in this Ring. COT ADM7500 also can act as RT for
Terminal Mux, Point to Point and Liner application.
On the other hand, RT ADM7500 usually can be used
in TM, Point-to-Point, and Linear architecture. |
