How to connect the Challenger 288 to
a 2-wire leased line in asynchronous mode?
Please
make sure that your Challenger 288 version is
V2.07, or newer.
The following steps will show you how to set your
modem into "simulated 2-wire leased line for
synchronous protocol". The steps are the same
as above (see answer to Question #6), however,
the AT command set is different : AT&FN0%G0&M1S7=30S37=17&L1&W
This will cause it to work in asynchronous mode
before connection and synchronous mode after connection.
