When my modem is connected to a DSD (Digital Sharing Device),it stays active and occupies the main-channel access?
1.
The Sub-channel's access to the main-channel for data transmission is controlled by Data contention or RTS/DCD contention.
2.
If the access is controlled by Data contention, this situation would be caused by the remote DTE. Please check the remote DTE.
3.
If the access is controlled by RTS/DCD contention, there may be two causes: a) the modem is not set for V.13 HDX or b) the RTS is always light in DTE.
