can't use the Adapt mode on my leased line?
When the Dial Line setting
is set to Adapt mode, it can adapt automatically
for V.34, V.32
or V.22 protocols. But, this feature can be used for
the Dial Line only; i.e. only for Dial Line Adapt mode,
the Answer modems can be used as "Adapt mode" (or "Multi-mode").
For T-288C applied to a Leased Line, users have to
manually configure to the same SPEED item in the CONFIG
MODEM menu. Otherwise, the modem may halt on either "Modem
Fail" or "Error in Tx".
