E1 access IP network Solution

TAINET Fiber Ethernet Network Terminal Unit (FNTU) 761 series allows the operator to provide Ethernet data traffic and TDM E1 services such as inter-office LAN connectivity, Internet access and secure virtual private networks (VPNs). This approach extends the service over fiber, facilitates the management of differentiated services to the customer premises while ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) enforcement.
The FNTU761 series uses fiber-optic Ethernet technology to provide pseudowire/ circuit multiple services, allowing TDM E1 streams to cross packet networks based on VPN, IP or Ethernet. One of its target applications is to enable TDM E1 ports to be transparently interconnected via IP networks (using Ethernet packets), with the advantage of connecting four TDM E1 ports to multiplexing at remote locations.

Connecting traditional E1 equipment to IP networks

TDMoIP devices are also called TDM circuit emulation gateways, E1 reverse multiplexers, E1 co-converters, E1 pseudowire emulators, and IP Mux. While operators are deploying LTE wireless base stations, they are also gradually eliminating SDH ring network equipment connecting each base station and replacing them with IP fiber access networking. However, the original traditional base station equipment E1 interface, how to connect E1 to the IP ring network is a key obstacle.
TAINET FNTU761 equipment provides system integrators with a simple way to convert the E1 circuit of traditional base stations to IP packet switching networks. With TAINET iEAC-16 integrated access frame and expansion service cards, it provides 4 to 32 E1 interface aggregation access, whether through optical fiber IP ring network or microwave wireless communication, a TDM over IP transmission solution can be constructed.
