G.SHDSL.bis EFM Line Card (FE)

TAINET’s SNTU 764FC series, is so called Ethernet Access Devices (EAD), Ethernet Media Data Converter (MDC) or Ethernet DSL modem, which takes advantage of the latest G.SHDSL.bis standard, is a mini-terminal enabling the transport of traffic from Ethernet interface with speed 5.7/ 11.4/ 22.8Mbps over EFM bonded 2/4/8 wires G.SHDSL.bis link.

SNTU 764FC series supports high-speed dedicated symmetrical data transmission and utilizes DSL bandwidth. The automatic line rate can be up to 15Mbps over 2-wire copper line. SNTU 764FC series works as Ethernet extender, with up to 8 wires it could enhance the line rate and provide the aggregated bandwidth over 60Mbps. Furthermore, SNTU 764FC series is line card of iEAC-16, the intelligent Ethernet access chassis, working as a central office for ISP long distance Ethernet Access Service. It covers the disadvantages of ADSL and VDSL and provides the point to multi-point services.

SNTU 764FC series is a perfect solution for Telecom Carriers, Service Providers and business users. To reduce operation/management burden, SNTU 764FC series can control and monitor remote unit via Embedded Operation Channel (EOC) by following ITU-T G.991.2. Administrators can also easily configure SNTU 764FC series through Telnet (SSH), Web (HTTP/HTTPS) or through SNMP agent.
