G.SHDSL.bis EFM/ ATM Ethernet Router
TAINET’s Comet 160xF & 160xFM (P2MP) series is DSL modem which enables the Ethernet data to be transmitted with the speed of 5.7/11.4/22.8Mbps over EFM bonded 2/4/8 wires. It supports up to 15Mbps per pair of GSHDSL.bis symmetrical transmission rate under extension mode.
To apply at more occasions, the line card version Comet (SNTU) series is compatible with TAINET iEAC-16 chassis. This combination is designed to work as a central office especially for long distance Ethernet Access Service. It covers the ADSL/VDSL’s disadvantages of distance limitation by offering multi-pair bonding services. To reduce the burden of operation/management the operator can control and monitor the remote unit via Embedded Operation Channel (EOC) by following ITU-T G.991.2.Moreover, the administrators can also easily configure all Comet series through Telnet (SSH), Web HTTP/HTTPS) or SNMP agent.
