With the rapid development of technology, specialty chemicals play an important role in the manufacturing of high-end servers, computers, handheld devices, etc. In the production process, the lack of any special chemical will make production difficult, which is indeed an important element behind the support of modern technology products. In order to promote the research and development of high-end and specialty chemicals, the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology has joined hands with RINJA SILICONE (TAIWAN), an expert in organosilicon specialty chemicals, to establish an advanced silicon material laboratory center, hoping to increase the research capacity of high-end and specialty chemicals through this research and development platform.
RINJA SILICONE (TAIWAN) focuses on organic silicon polymer materials, which have been successfully applied in electronics, home appliances, optics, automobiles, air transportation, biotechnology and medical care, maternal and child products, sanitary ware, consumer daily necessities and robots. The raw materials of its products are silicon ore, which has better resistance to skin allergies and excellent weather resistance than traditional petrochemical raw materials.
Currently, organic silicon polymer materials are mostly controlled by manufacturers in the United States, Europe, and Japan. With an eye on Asia, which has good production and manufacturing capabilities, NINJA SILICONE (TAIWAN) has deepened the research and development of organic silicon specialty chemical products through Industrial-Academia collaboration with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. In addition to training more material experts, it has further commercialized the results of industry-university development, expanded independent research and development, and entered the material supply chain. To gain customer trust as quickly as possible, related materials can be rapidly developed and improved through academic research, production and sales, thereby deepening and expanding industrial applications.
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology is oriented towards practical applications, connecting corporate resources and R&D capabilities, establishing R&D platforms and innovative layouts to contribute to future technological development. We would like to thank the NTUST Industrial-Academia collaboration team, including Vice President Tzu-Chuan Chou, Professor Yao-Hsuan Tseng, and Professor Yu-Cheng Chiu, for attending the laboratory unveiling ceremony. Currently, many talents in professional fields have joined the research and development team of NINJA SILICONE (TAIWAN). In the future, we look forward to more outstanding talents joining us to work together to promote a sustainable environment based on silicon ore materials.
